Lapierre Zesty 314 (Large) w/ Reverb

$1300 GPB
2010 Lapierre Zesty for sale. Absolutely beautiful and awesome bike for anything from trail riding to enduro racing. I have made some significant upgrades to make the bike, such as Rockshox dropper post, wider bars and new Mavic wheels. Excellent condition with only a couple of small nicks on the frame. The bike was also recently serviced by Alex Bennett at Ticky Bikes (Jack Reading's mech). I have owned this bike for approximately 5 months but have found it to be slightly small for me (I am 6' 3", so it would be perfect for anyone probably 6' 1" and under). Full spec below: Frame: SL Hydroformed / OST 140mm Rear Shock: Fox Float R for Lapierre Fork: Fox 32FRL Open Bath 140mm Front Derailleur: Shimano SLX Rear Derailleur: Shimano XT Shifters: Shimano New Deore Chainset: Shimano SLX Brakes: Formula RX 180/180 Handlebars: Superstar 780mm Rims: Mavic CrossRide Disc Front Hub: Mavic CrossRide Disc Rear Hub: Mavic CrossRide Disc Front Tyre: Continental MKing Sport 26X2.4 Rear Tyre: On-One Smorgasbord Saddle: LP by San Marco White Seat post: Rockshox reverb Weight: 12.7kg Pedals not included.

Ask Us Anything - Chris Ball And The Enduro World Series
I have entered the Tweedlove EWS in the E2 category. I think it's a great idea to get more "normal" folks involved. How will the E1 and E2 categories differ, i.e. will they be on the same day and course and will you be able to watch the fast guys before or after your race? I'm mega excited already...

Pinkbike Poll: The Local Bike Shop
I said "crappy products for inflated prices just to pay the shop rent". I didn't say "awesome products that I want/need just to pay the shop rent". I used to work in a bike shop and even though I still get a discount when I buy stuff I don't even bother going, because the stock they have is tired and out of date. People have this nostalgic view of their LBS, but the fact is that we live in a capitalist society and supply and demand wins out every time. And I'm not just talking about products; the supply could be a really awesome customer experience which you would never get online. I would love a well run LBS that knew me and my bikes inside out. The problem is that doesn't exist, at least not near me.

Pinkbike Poll: The Local Bike Shop
"The online client who only shops with price in mind will ALWAYS bring everything back used, want a tune for half off and expect it done NOW, demand a refunds 2 years later, want the lowest price and prolly wants low end crap anyway" Urrr, I buy everything online because all my local bike shops are full of utter mongs who think they know better about everything. I used to be a mechanic and so can do almost everything myself, for everything I can't /don't have time I use a mobile mechanic who is an absolute legend but doesn't have to peddle (excuse the pun) crappy products for inflated prices just to pay the shop rent.

Mojo Pro Bike Clinic, Clips VS Flats with Neil Donoghue
Rode with flats for years and thought clips were stupid. Then tried clips and now I'll never go back. Don't knock it until you've tried it, yah.
