 Oh yeah I see flip bars, now it makes sense. The instagram vid was low quality and he threw it so big that it was questionable if he used them or not which woulda been insane. I think the Godfrey boy needs to enter one of these contests for the fun of it. He could bring on some video game stuff.

 if he can leave those arm catcher bars on for all his riding then I'm ok with it, if he just bolts them on for this one trick then I'm not ok with it (even if it does look pretty wild)

 Yea, I don't think a trick like this is possible without them. There would be no way you could ever stop the rotation of the bike and bring it back once you threw it out that far without the flip bars. Not without some kind of super human wrist/grip strength anyway.

 That's amazing the bike has enough momentum to flip him the rest of the way over with those fancy arm catchers!

 na it doesn't, he's heavier. if you look closely you can see him tuck and pull the bike back under him self. many a flattened bar and grip combo and 12" forearms he could leave the catcher bar off? lighter bike would help too...

 Unless you are impossibly jacked, yes it is impossible. And everyone can down vote this, but after watching it again I'm really not a fan of the trick. I would much rather see some crazy whip combo than this.
