Pinkbike Poll: Protective Gear - or Not
When I first starting riding i had a full face, knee and elbow pads and gloves but most of the time these went unused as they were uncomfortable, hot and limited mobility. These days you can get good protection that goes pretty much un-noticed up until you take a spill, so if you have the money for decent gear why not wear protection?

$1000 GBP2013 Canyon Strive size L, standard basic model except bar and stem which are 780mm superstar bar and 50mm stem. Full spec should be on canyon website. Selling to fund new smaller travel trail/xc bike as this is generally overkill for most of my rides (trail centres). Will post at buyers expense.
