Video: Maxxis Presents Rubber Side Down
Old maxxis sized tires came up small. The newer tires are pretty close to stated sizes.

Deity, Guerrilla Gravity, Race Face - Sea Otter 2014
Was it really a smart idea to take a pic of the Guerrilla Gravity Megatrail with the Lapierre tents standing out as the background? As for the bike, its nice to see more bikes with the x12 syntace rear setup. Beats using one of like 10 billion hanger shapes for one universal shear bolt, that easy to tell if its straight or not.

Hutchinson Toro RR Tire Review
Just run them both in the direction you feel matches your use of the tire. Personally, I'd run them both the same direction. I'd trade climbing traction for braking traction on the rear, typically this makes little difference in climbing traction anyways.

BOX Components Prototype Drivetrain and Disc Brake - Interbike 2013
I like them calipers. Beefy bolts for the two halves, looks really stiff. I'm not sure the way the brake line comes off the caliper is going to play nice with all the frames + cable routing though. Who cares if the brake clamp acts like grip clamp? remove grip, put it where you want, run normal grip. Problem solved.

Manitou Sherman Breakout TPC+ Tapered/160mm

$130 CAD
2003 Sherman Breakout TPC+ (2002 casting date) Custom tapered CSU, steerer installed with interference fit, aircraft inference paste used as well. Somewhat on the shorter side, so make sure the steerer length is enough. Top out modified to get 160mm of travel (still plenty of bushing/stanchion overlap/top out spring) No travel adjust (was broken), cap replaced with one from a Gold Label for cleaner look/lighter. Med coil spring rate Fresh 5w damper oil, (0 rides) Fresh synthetic lower oil (0 rides) Stanchions and lower are almost devoid of scratches. De-stickered to replace with newer manitou lighter ones, but never got around to getting them. Was going to use these on a budget 650B AM bike, but it doesn't really fit my riding style. Price is OBO - however - lowballs won't be dignified with a response.

An Exclusive and In-Depth Look at Kona's 2014 Carbon Operator
Plastic is not a carbon composite. Calling carbon frames plastic shows a poor understanding of the materials and should be corrected.
