Waki I'm afraid your logic regarding making stuff overseas is flawed. From a mtb'er living in France's perspective, the Thomson products are a foreign made item as they are made in the USA. Even if you were living in New England and you bought a product from a guy in California, you are not buying local, even though you are in the same country. So, only customers who live in the same town or county are benefiting the locale with sales tax from the purchase remaining local with a portion going to the state.
