Maybe a new Totem is around the corner with 20mm axle... not likely, but if there was enough demend then maybe that will fill in the freeride market

Mountainsmith Spirit 12 Backpack - Review
I have some Mountainsmith gear and it is really durable and not over the top with unnecessary pockets or extra clips, just good heavy duty gear that will last years.

Bell Built 2015: Semifinalists Announced
After the city of Portland has chosen to shut down the trails in the city, it would be a huge step for the MTB community to show that mountain biking belongs and vote for building more trails in Oregon.

Easton Havoc 27.5 UST Wheelset - Review
24 spokes? Riding hard requires a lot more spokes. World cup wheels for one race, but for riders that tear up the trails day in and day out for a couple years than 24 spokes won't work.

Ask Pinkbike: Loose Crankarms, Dumping my DH for an AM Bike, Direct-Mount vs 4-Bolt chainrings and Bike Vacationing in Finale
It all comes down to money, if you have the money and ride hard then you are best off with a dh bike, am bike, and a dj bike. If you only can afford one bike then buy the bike you ride the most.

Video: Riding is Better when Groomed
I actually rode up there a couple weeks ago and the resort put a lot of work into their trails but it was not nearly as fun as grabbing my board and riding the mountain. I love mountain bikes a little more than snowboarding but snowboards way more than fat bikes.

Ask Pinkbike - Desert Tires, Drivetrain Upgrades, BoXXer Dial Dilemma
I lived in Albuquerqe and tried a set of Tioga Psycho tires. I was surprised how well they worked in the desert. They rolled faster than the Maxxis I had used in the past and gripped better in the sandy over hard pack that was on the trails. The tires didn't work when things were wet and slippery and quickly got changed once I moved to the PNW, but a great desert tire.
