I spent the afternoon with some of the trail builders who have been working on 'Rad to the power of Sick' to see their progress over the last year. They took some well deserved time from digging to enjoy some their hard work. vimeo.com/6775102
Loved the tree tap Haha...Not bad, although the riders wern't exactly brilliant, its not always about how skillfull a rider is, more about having a laugh or building trails or perhaps being with friends? This shows a mixture of all and is a true VOD
Good choice PB.

Favorite VOD I've seen in a while, good filming and editing with a sweet trail and good feeling music. Really inspires me to go out and build something.
Well done

a session with slopestyle, downhill, and dirtjumps bike all on the same trail ripping, sweet vid guys
ace vid, loving the clear freeride/dh/hardtail theme, it dont matter what you ride, it dont really matter how you ride, its always been and will always be about the enjoyment. cheers for the vid
Really nice. Why can't more videos have decent music instead of godawful hip hop? The soundtrack is what really makes this one for me. Gotta get me some reflectors, too.
Hey, there is a helmet cam run from a few months ago on http://www.vorb.org.nz/rad-the-power-sick-t96099.html The reason it is so short is because Toby wanted to make a sweet video (which he sure has) so he edited out the worst of our dead sailors... Also I'll add the ad the name comes from on http://www.vorb.org.nz/rad-the-power-sick-t100648.html which is really funny..

Sweet Trail. I like that you have built for all riders so people can still ride while building their abilities without killing themselves. supper flowing. Nice!

pretty much all the DH in CHCH is all in the same park. Victoria Park on the port hills and theres pretty much something for everyone. gnarly steep stuff or flowy smooth jump stuff all over the place

Oh bugger (i'm a jaffa haha)
Still great to see people building tracks and helping mtb become more mainstream here in nz. Well not mainstream as such but more accepted by councils

In christchurch we are really lucky, the city council and the rangers are very helpful, when we need things such as dirt or drains or chainsawing (volunteers are not allowed chainsaws, but we have a really good two man saw, which chopped almost all of the log work you see on the video) we just call them up, and a few days later it arrives. Hopefully that fallen tree will dissapear the same way in the next day or two.
Shit man thats awesome
The Franklin District coucil are being really good at the moment they're building a new trail in a reserve in Pukekohe to get more pople using the reserve but it was all done by the coucil like they came up with it and stuff and got some poeple to start converting an overgrown walking track

Looks super smooth and lots of flo super fun , almost like some whristler trails butI agree with beef dude , al ittle small
It just goes to show that you cant just build a single set of jumps your love for the sport makes you want to continue
looked smooth as hell but seriously...the guys on a glory build something with more than like a 5 foot gap c'mon...
I think you've missed the point of the gaps! We are not about to dig a stream which is 5 foot wide out to 65 feet wide just to claim to have a bigger canyon gap than the red bull rampage...
beefdude125.... here in NZ we aren't all about "who can hit the biggest jump" cause frankly that doesn't prove anything, just that you can hit a jump, getting style is what we like, and these guys show tons of it. It's not always about who has the biggest ego..... we live to ride and ride to live.
