This is a Japenese version of the guiness world record episode where he attempted this, and clearly failed. All the Filming was done was for guiness world record in the 90's. The Japanese simply got their hands on the tape.

I saw this video a while ago on Worlds Most Crazy Crashes or something. The bike is a custom carbon fiber MTB made exactly for what he's doing. Its also got a 70 tooth chainring ( or something really big) on the front, thats why that guy has to push him to get started.

thats not an intense he was riding. it was a one of a kind carbon fiber bike build specifically to break the world record....of course it snapped. carbon fiber was a bad choice.

ive seen that, the poor guy, he doesnt even have the record anymore, a guy named Markus Stoeckl made the new one at 178 km/h
it was two diffrent bikes. the second run was a carbon fiber frame. It was too light, and couldn,t hold up.

BTW, new record was made on an Intense M5 prototype... the M6 is the release version ......which is basically the same thing. the vid up here was not an intense.

If you look closely enough it looks like his stantion tubes burst right through his bottoms. that kinda speed down that hill would definitely intensify gravity on his bike that frame he was riding was probably flexing at the front like mad. damn though its looked like he broke both his wrist his fingers his arms and his legs that must have knocked him out he's lucky he isn't dead lol still an epic spill for sure though.. I wonder if the Japanese have good down hilling???? hmmmm shredding mount Fuji or what ever lol

First off he was ridding somewhere in south america if i remember corectly, he's not from japan, niether is the bike. He broke the record @ 107 mph, he didn't fail. this was close to ten years ago maybe more.
