he has improved so mucha s arider since then aswell... he is hitting 8 foot long doubles now... he is almost keeping up with us when we ride now too... i love riding with him... makes you wana push it so hard!

Dude y is your left arm tucked under your shirt? Props to you being able to ride that good wit one arm but if your other arm woks use it!!!
Yes, that means his arm is "dead". It's still there, but it's useless. Amazing riding. I'm probably worse with both arms working 
and btw, you can save couple grams on the front brake.

his arm is completely dead but recently tom has actually started making some progress regarding movement of his arm... he can now just about swing his arm back and forth using his shuolder muscles... i wish him a speedy recovery...

I remember riding behind this huy on A-line in whistler and i caught up to him right where you can turn into the boneyard and i thought that he was drinking from his camel back but then he kept on riding like that and i was so confused then i ended up remebering something about him on pinkbike that i read. It was really amazing!

I don't know if you guys have seen it, but there was a video of a guy with one arm missing and we was dropping some big stuff. Anyway those guys only shows us that when you love something, you'll do everything you can to make it.

no shit his arm is under his shirt. If you could read you'd probably understand that at least 6 people have already explained that the reason his arm is under his shirt is because it got paralized after a huge crash.
That dude must have one really buff right arm now. Riding one handed takes way more strength, and balance.

if you go to his myspace. in his pics. you can tell he has both brake levers on one side. it appears he uses his index finger for one and his middle for another.. assuming index is front brake and middle is rear. not sure tho.. much respect..

thats so sweet, there is a couple guys around hear that are riding one armed, one guy from the loops, i saw a pic of him doing like a 17 foot drop, i can't even do that and i have 2 arms, and of course there is that guy in the old north shore extremes who has a machanical arm, he rides an intense M3 now and shreds it!
