A scruffy unshaven Hum installs a Hum-modded BB so Terri can see how tight I mean the inserts are.

Nope. Thats a shimano bb cup with enduro bearings from a maverick hub in it. Turned down inserts to get rid of the little lip they have normally, and to size to the bearing.
Spins like its on a superconductor.
Made it before enduro was making outboard bearing kits, now Terri gets to ride it!

I know... but I didnt think people would go thru what I did to make it work... of course then enduro comes out with a slightly thinner bearing that works pretty stinkin easily
its the daft little things that make all the difference, and what also makes people lots of money and other people go oh why didnt i think of that.
nice to see people tinkering too.

On me to make it? I didnt know you commissioned me for that. Eventhough Im making one for myself
Just gotta find a decent chunk of Ti around the shop.

Hadnt thought of carbon... but Ill post a pic of my recent carbon project once it finishes curing. A-pillars for the jeep to allow off axis tweeter aiming on the pillar. Silver CF. Looking pretty good, just takes 3 days to cure
I can cut time in half if I could deal with tiny air bubbles and a slight hazy finish. 3 days is a long time, but results in true clear and no bubbles. I drive far too much to look at imperfect pillars.
I vacuum bag it, I could cure it hotter WHILE under vacuum, but all my furnaces are a ways from my vacuum source.
hmmm hey, can you make me a carbon fibre frame that weighs like 1 pound! To go with the 50 gram carbon fibre stem
Do you weigh less than 20lbs? If so, sure, Ill build you a frame
Damn you guys for making me think about making a carbon brick to cut a stem out of. This is gonna cost me some $$.

of course but he takes no responsobility for when it snaps and you have to get it removed from your butt.

I salute your neck bear and T-shirt that says 'division of danger' on it. It's sort of sad, at 15 years old, I can grow hair on my neck and practically anywhere else on my jaw...
