Great Colours, Great Quality, Great Scenery, and a Great Video overall, what more could you ask for in a VOD? Nothing else!

I believe this is VOD because its very, very different. Very rarely do videos get VOD that show a journey or travel, it's more about downhilling or street, or dirt jumps.
Another reason why it's awesome is because there are so little all mountain movies around, especially ones that get VOD.
Aaron, this is awesome!

Why some people always call cross country to all mountain?? I never saw XC racers doing that kind of jumps and riding with that flow! Nice VOD !

i bet if all the xc racers werent tired as hell when riding they would be a lot more flowy. also there seats are too damn high. these both hold true to me anyway

Too bad XC rider's have a lot more stamina then most of us here. Enjoy the video boys, don't be hating it.

Excellent video, captures what mountain biking is really all about. Getting out side and enjoying all the outdoor elements. Not all of us have a downhill mountain to shred on, so we make the best of what nature has to offer us in our own area, and that's what so many of us can relate to. Would love to see more videos like this, very inspiring.

This mountain and trail is in danger of being opened to OHVs (quads, MX and 4X4).
Please help...please email the people on these two sites (CRD staff) www.crd.bc.ca/about/board/directors/index.htm
(Sooke council and mayor) www.sooke.ca/EN/main/contacts/feedback.php
Please sign our petition...http://www.petitiononline.com/not4ohv/petition.html
The OHV crowd have a lot of riding areas, we have two locally.

Well I thought All mountain is about riding in the mountains (preferably high ones) and this looks quite flat as for AM, especialy on a an XC marathon bike with custom wide bars. So please stop categorizing, it's just a release of AM group set. This is a one great piece of riding in superb scenery, and the video is just amazing! Makes me want to ride.

This is so great. All the reason to bike. I enjoy the colors, fresh air, fishing and camping with the best part exploring on the Mtb in the GREAT OUTDOORS!
Look at the dudes G-ride, black on black. I want a 4x4 How could there be anything better? I want to go right now. I am excited. Roll it till da wheels fall off! 4evr

Hi everyone- just to clarify- the rack is designed, manufactured and PATENTED by NORTH SHORE RACKS INC.- check out www.northshoreracks.com.
The rack built and used in the video by Strahan Loken is a copy of the North Shore Rack design, which is patent infringement.
North Shore Racks is a family-owned business located in North Vancouver, BC. The racks are manufactured locally, not overseas. The demand for our racks has grown exponentially therefore predictions of sales are hard to determine until they start flying off the shelves. We take pride in our product and hope that fellow mountain bikers will appreciate the blood, sweat and tears that have gone in to our awesome racks.

I thought that to constitute a patent infringement the rack, which is modeled around the design of the North Shore racks but not a direct copy, it needs to be commercially sold or used.
The rack is nothing more than someone building something cool at home and using it for personal use.
Sure, some credit is due to North Shore racks, but not in this video. The video was about Race Face and Rocky Mountain Bikes, not bike racks.

Hi again,
The definition of "Infringement" under the Canadian Intellectual Patent Office is as follows:
"Patent infringement happens if someone makes, uses, or sells your patented item without your permission in a country that has granted you a patent, during the term of the patent."
Basically what this means that in order to make something which is patented you must have prior permission, even if it is for personal use. There is no need to profit from or to use commercially to infringe upon a Patent.
See link: www.cipo.ic.gc.ca/eic/site/cipointernet-internetopic.nsf/eng/wr01091.html#sec21
The rack made and used in the video did not receive any such permission and is a clear infringement of our Patent.
While you are right about this amazingly fantastic video being about Race Face and Rocky Mountain Bikes, there are a lot of comments and misinformation above about the bike rack in the video, prompting my response.

you know hes a good filmer and editer when he turns a less interesting part of the sport into a very entertaining movie

Less interesting to you, not to everyone...Still, yes he is an extremely good filmer and editer.
