to adzy i dont think that was a freecoster...correct me if im wrong but arond 50-55 i saw the whole chain crank set up and i saw him pedal...if he was only riding a freecoster in some parts then im sorry but i belive it wasn't

I agree with exetertim, i prefer way more a vid with a guy wearing a helmet because then it shows a good example to the newer generation of bikers, the young ones just starting out and see guys not wearing helmets makes them think that not wearing one also is "cool" and they decide not to wear one and get hurt. So yes it is good to see people wearing helmets in their vids, and a nice helmet is very cool.

that dude's got style. He doesn't go mega big, but his tricks just flow and he looks smooth and dialled on everything. The music's a good choice to match up to how casual he's looking.
i know this may be controversal so prop away, firstly i agree with what people above think, great riding, good music and a generaly good film. but it has no real place on a mountain biking website. i ride bmx and appreciate the guys in that video, but if we dont keap them on sepreate websites we'l end up with mongeral websites that just have every thing on just because its cool. put vids like this on bmx forums. theres enough of them! that my 2pence, prop away im not bothered
I'm not gonna go with the whole negative props thing. But it is pinkBIKE not pinkMOUNTAINBIKE. There's sections in the photos, and forums for road riding, bmxing and things like that, so why shouldnt there be videos as well.
i think its great theres a website for everything, it doesnt segragate anyone. yip there is specific sites out there but biking in general should be appreciated by everyone who rides a bike. i dont bmx anymore but i still mtb dj/xc and ride a singlespeed roadie but i still love watching bmx, so im kinda glad theres a site where i can veiw it all in one place, and i think alot of people will agree. no neg props tho your entitled to an opinion.

jeunefred. I'd imagine its due to the comparitively low number of roadies that use this site, and hence the shortage of road related stuff on here (even though they should feel welcome). If you want you can make a roadie video, and if the admins on here, or whoever chooses VOD likes it enough, then maybe we will have a roadie VOD!

Road racing just isnt exciting as DJ/street or DH unless there a huge crash then it get exciting.

I personally find freecoasters to be harder and require way more concentration to pull off successfully. Props to that man for the video. Was super smooth and really stylish.
freecoasters arent cheating, if you spend alot of your time riding fakie it kinda makes sense. make life a little easier.

It's mentioned above, but this is pinkbike, not pinkmountainbike. Hence the fact that there are photo and media posting categories for DH and DJ but also for roadies and bmx...

not bad, but surely not POD, this is a mtb forum not a bmx forum, and i've seen a lot of mtb movies where people ride 10 times as good as he did. but don't get me wrong, i liked the vid
forgot to mention, the reason why i don't like bmx on this forum is because there are thousands of other bmx forums, but not much mtb forums. and the bmx forums don't accept mtb riders, so why would we give them so much respect we even give them POD on a mtb site?

Why isn't a BMX considered a real bike u MTBer's it has 2 wheels a frame, cranks, pedals chain etc. Seems like a BMX seems like a bike to me. And real bike, opposed to what a fake bike, what the hell is a fake bike.
