Great video. Loving how the helmet cam goes with the riding footage. I hate when the two don't contrast together. But were finally getting the technology to do so. Awesome VOD.
sick vid, but has anyone noticed like EVERY video is the same now? all of the camera angles and music is just being reused.... change it up a bit
A flowy song partnered with the crisp sounds of the bike tracking over the ground makes this up to be a great VOD!
duck-slap: I agree! haha that was the first thing that I noticed.. I wonder how many people on here actually know what EDIAS is?

Well there is a good reason that us film guys use allot of the same angles. It is because things look faster, bigger, steeper and it is visually interesting. Our goal as film makers is to take the viewer out from behind their computer and drop them into the scene with out them having to think about it.If you watch something that is not very well shot, lit, and edited the mind has to think too much and you loose the experience and you think it looks terrible.Where if everything is done correct you don't really notice all of those elements and you get an enjoyable experience.
It's good to play around with different angles but once in the edit suite you only use what looks good and tells the story in the best way possible. More often than not that is the simplest most well thought out angles.

I agree that so many videos coming out recently are so smooth that they lose their emotion, but I think this one was very well done. Exciting terrain with the helmet cam action mixed in made this a great video.
but the filming and angles are only used on pinkbike... its like a pinkbike trend and its soo boring now! look on other sites and its all different and you dont get the feeling like youve seen it before!
I disagree, repetitive videos are easy to find all over teh interwebz (there are just so many here on PB that it seems like they're all here). You have a point, but don't lose hope just yet

So am I that kind of kid who like riding fast but I 'd expected some german tribute especially about you having fun. That's why I would add that "das Wichtigste ist, Spass haben !"
Great Vid, Bince !

That is some sick stuff! Riding was awesome, as was the filming and editing. What was this shot on? I'm loving the use of an onboard mic on the bike - something I really want to try too.
Trail is in Pemberton, BC, Canada (30 minutes north of whistler). You can get a trail map in the local shops.
the last about 30 seconds of the video were shot on a trail called platinum at the woodlot which is located in maple ridge about 45 minutes east of vancouver.

This video makes me want to say smoothie, and I don't know why.
I bet it's steeper than it looks, and it looks steep.

Well Vincent picked that song for me to edit too because it makes him stoked to ride. I am not a fan of that type of music myself but I am a fan of people being stoked to ride...
i personally wouldn't justify my actions to someone with the inability to ask in a civilised manor, the music works very well
