theres a german company Alutech, they offer an kit with which you can pt skis on your mountainbike in place for the tyres
i thought of buying something like that for the next year.

I was in the French Alps a few weeks ago and a couple of us hired SnowScoots which were just the best fun ever! They only have a single board at the back and the action is a bit more like skiing than snowboarding. Absolutely awesome in deeper snow, they just float along! I'd get one but as has been said they're 1500 euro!

They cut a snowboard into two pieces and mounted this "big ski" instead of the tiny one when we filmed the powder stuff. It`s not necessary but way more fun.
