Riding footage from the Go Pro. Local trails, local riders.
Hi spoiledgoods, what program did you edit this with? I have tested with Sony Vegas and it seems to play back jerky, adobe premiere seems to pickup only the audio track...any recommendations?
Hey dude,
So here's the deal. The footage this camera outputs is filmed at a massive size (either 1280x1080 or 1080x720), and uses a codec called H.264. This footage is basically too complex for the average computer to process straight from the camera. I have a macbook and it doesn't even like it.
However, the solve is to re-convert it to a usable format. The easiest method I have found is to open it in Quicktime, go to file > save for web, then choose the Computer setting. That will step it down in size, and make it viewable on your computer (most probably). If not, try re-converting it to another size and bit-rate, one of them will work for you.
If you got anymore questions just fire me a PM. Cheers!

hey mr. goods,
how are you liking that sexy new race face stem? have you run it in both the 30mm and 50mm position? would you recommend the product?

I really like the stem. Its got a great feel to it, a smart design, and its functional. I have not tried it in both settings yet but at 50mm it feels great! Im afraid if I move it any closer to my body it will cramp my arms and feel funny, so the 30mm probably wont happen on the setup right now.
I would recommend this product for sure! Smart design, functional, and good lookin!

I'm loving my Flatline WC as well! I'm sure the new Glory and Sessions are great but I am so happy I went with the Flatline. I spend my summers at Shuswap Lake near Salmon Arm and I have built some trails there. I have always wanted to check out vedder mountain though! I hear that the GoPro must be pointed up as much as possible and it's just right. Please make a new vid with better angles, I loved this one.

Chest cams are far superior then headcams! You get the entire cockpit and the trail. Why would you need anything else?
yea but the view from this chest cam sucks the handlebars take up most of the screen with a headcam you wouldn't have that problem
i think the chestcam is so much better then headcam. but i think this video would be alot beter if there wasnt any water on the lense...
