I was there racing. I had a Marzocchi DH3 80mm travel and a Sintesi Bromont 100mm rear travel. We had to gain speed up to 60km/h to make the double on 2.0 tyres. That was the spirit. Nowadays bikes do most of the hard work for the pilot.
A GT com suspensÃ£o e triangulo traseiro fluorescentes Ã© o Nuno Moca por exemplo. Marco fidalgo com a Parkpre, JoÃ£o Cordeiro na Sunn a ir ribanceira abaixo e a ficar maltratado... VÃ¡ lÃ¡ em 96 ja havia guiadores sobreelevados e andava na altura com um prato de 50 dentes mas sem travÃµes de disco q eram coisa rara ainda! Em 94 grande parte da malta, pelo menos no regional do Minho, fazia a prova de DH no SÃ¡bado com a mesma bike com que fazia a prova de x-country no Domingo. CÃ¡ fica um pouco da histÃ³ria do DH TUGA.
