 bike magazine had same concept. but they did nuts and bolts. put in the bolt and secure it with nut on the outside. nice work thou

 nicely done..ive heard about it and was going to try it this year but i ended up being lazy so its gonna have to be next year. What size screws did you use..3/4 by 8?

 I don't know how long they are in Imperial units, but screws on side knobs were: lenght 15mm (0.59") X width 4mm (0.157"). Screws in center knobs were little bit smaller: 13mm (0.51") x 3mm (0.11").
