Farmer Jack could beat anyone, he is mental. I bet his Sheep, and Pigs, and cows are well proud of him. I wonder if they get put off when he rides in the jumps in his feilds. According to legend, Farmer Jack has a tractor with a Lamborghini Engine, turbo, NOS, and a huge sound system underneath his cab!

What!? I saw Jack the other weekend at Moelfre. He's put on a bit of weight but he tried out Rach's new 2010 rig and was certainly looking pretty pinned... How do you think the Athertons got into riding?
well he puts the helmet on with out gloves and then when hes at the very top of the big drop he has gloves on?????????
The editors felt that to show him putting his gloves on would make it a little too "epic". Instead they kept it as brief as possible and let the riding speak for itself.

Even if it is a made up thing, I do find the idea behind it most interesting. Who the hell came up with it? Farmer Jack is an old farmer and a countryside man; he likes his pipe and is very down to earth in is own particular way. Farmer Jack does understand England's weather like condition and will never say now to you if you just treat him with a pint at the local pub where he lives. What this video is actually doing is questioning the old man's local knowledge, which is pit against the Atherton’s avant garde way of life. Who is going to listen to Farmer Jack and who cares what he thinks about mountain biking any way? But even a hick might have his moments and ideas are not less worthy due to their simplicity. The moment of truth put forward by farmer Jack does not reside in authority (Had Gee said the same thing (you going too high, let me show you how it's done), the connotations would have been different) but rather in human knowledge and common sense (what farmer Jack is saying is not so more truth because he is saying it but because that is what the truth is). I hope it wasn't Rachel who came up with the idea or else I shall commit suicide.

haha, they almost get me there in the beginning, I actually thought it was farmer jack! After watching the racing between farmer jack and Rachel I realized it couldn't surely be him. Awesome video anyway, laughed my ass off
