How to paint a bike

After painting a couple of bikes, i decided id post the steps :) hope this helps. Post your ride after you paint it :)

 I live in canada Razz so its always cold
unless u do this mid summer
then shorten it by like a day
if its 25 degrees it shuld take 12 hours to dry or so

I tried using rustolium and their was a defect with the paint colors i was using and i wasted 100 bucks on their high end crap paint!!!!!!!!!!

 im just about to start on mine, how much did you pay for the primer, paint and clear coat?

 Each can was about 6-7$ plus tax at rona

I used 4 cans of paint
2 of primer
1-2 clear coat

its pretty easy
but beware, cover up moving parts well
and for the seatpost tube, dont do it heavily
or your clamp wont fit
im posting my new painted bike tonight
its been painted two weeks Razz but ive been needing a new part

 Thanks! Tremclad served me well. I would do it in above ten degrees though. Room temperature is the best
