That is a SICK video. I usually don't like BMX videos, but this one is put together with some amazing stunts and a cool feel to it. The only complaint I would have (but hey, it's your decision if you want people feeding you through a straw...) is that nobody has a helmet on in that entire video. Com'on guys... you can do whatever you want with your life, but picture all the kids you are influencing. Otherwise it's a great video. Keep up the good work, but just put on a helmet. That simple action could save your life.
You really havent seen many BMX vids have you - street riders basically DONT wear helmets. They're riders, not f*cking corporate puppets trying to promote safe riding. I hate all this wear a helmet stuff, I partially agree with you and would advise anyone to wear a helmet, but all your "wear a helmet" statements do is further add weight to the parents "it's not my dumbass sons fault he bust his head open, his favorate rider doesnt wear a helmet" excuses. If everyone would just accept the fact that they're accountable for their own safety - then I think we'd be better off. Though I know what the insurance culture is over in the U.S. It's a f*cking joke.
Don't get me wrong. I don't think ANYONE should blame a rider for their kids death. I think this country is going downhill in that matter (suing for everything under the sun...), as well as many others *BUSH*, but the sad fact is that yeah, some kids do whatever their favourite rider does, helmet or not. Sure, some of these kids are eliminated by natrual selection, but hey, what about all the other kids who don't know better because their parent is compleatly oblivious that their only son is screwing up his life in more ways than just not wearing a helmet. I agree with you that if everybody just took responsibility for their own actions the world would be a better place, but the sad fact is that all the obese Americans aren't going to. I hate being lumped in with them.
see the big problem with this no helmet bullshit is that random shitty riders think they can get away with not wearing helmets just because everyone else can. Trust me if you saw all street riders wearing helmets chances are you would throw one on too. Personally i really couldnt care less about a kid cracking his skull open because he chose to be a complete idiot. But the way i see it, one of them has a serious fall and the rest of canada has to end up paying for his health care through taxes. So from whatever way you look at it buddy, if you dont wear a helmet, everybody loses. to many teasers are becoming VODS, i think there should be more independent videos getting VOD. considering these big movies have alot of money to work with and make their movies nicer than anyone elses... and the rest of us have old digi cams seams kind of stupid to me. considering the amount of stick stars get nowadays for setting an example,i think that the stars of the riding community should follow suit,along with film makers,that being said its there life not mine.

allright im getting pretty sick oh but there not wearing helmets thing, they dont wear them because they have enough practice doing what they do, to not have to wear a helmet, i dont wear a helmet when i ride but hey thats my choice i go out riding knowing i may get in a wreck, but it was my choice no to where the helmet, i just developed enough skill to not have to wear a helmet , plus you learn how to fall after falling enough times and anyways they always always always, have the camera crew a few other riders and cars so if someone does wreck and hit their head they can take them to the hospital. thats why i never do anything big without someone around, the buddy system is a lifesaver
