well the marzocchi guy showed me that it had been cracked for a while in the front.. so all it took was some forward pressure to snap the crack

shockabahala, it's not the bike that's shitty, if anything it's the fork however that fork is pretty decent. I think the fork was probably damaged in the past and then just snapped after a while of hard riding.

Just a fatigue crack...happened to me twice now...Small crack starts, hard impact with you OFF the bike breaks it...

but FYI, Marzocchi said if you have a hard hit, take the fork off, check it, and if it;s cracked, you get one free steer tube replacement

marzocchi hence 2008.. CRAP. hope 2010 and 2011 will hold up better. oh yeah... 2003 dj holds up better than that grey 2009 crap... and it's not even bolt-on Wink

P.S. i don't ride marzocchi any more!

and you guys in america dont know how lucky you are ! over here in NZ we got some alright dirt jump spots, but its usually shit weather in the winter and we dont have indoor parks to go too like woodward, im soo saving up for a bike tour when im older Big Grin
