Thats so sick!!! I love the snowmobile footage. This just shows everything you have filmed recently and it looks so sick! VOD

nope that shot was very clean, when I did twix, I put real smart motion blur on two shots in the video, that one and the shot where the beat changes, to more dreamy drum and bass part

I don't wanna sound like a dick, but the HDR thing still needs lots of work..
i know its just been concept, but i cant see that in like a year the HDR videos are gonna look way sicker. So if u think it looks cool now, just wait till the tecnique gets dominated!

I totally agree; I am using a handy-cam to make the hdr files, so they are not what I would call "amazing" yet. But we put this teaser together to get funding to get better cameras, so the technic of hdr will look much better and you will see the true style of video that I hope to bring to the table. Red Cam HDR is going to be something I cant wait to see, and i am working toward now.

thats awesome man... i see the in the big productions movies the hdr being very suttle, cause 1 hour with thisintense hdr would be kinda too "overwhelming" if that makes sense.. Just enough hdr to bring some details and colors up

I'm really not feeling the HDR. There is HDR, and then there's completely over the top HDR...which is what many photo's consist of now adays and this to me is also OTT. The HDR effect was made for Hi Dynamic Range in photo's, to show more detail in the highlights and lowlights, not to 'cartoonise' images.
Less subtle HDR editing would be far better in my honest opinion... Keep at it though, some really great footage never mind the editing ! And great editing in some parts too.

here's the fine cut

we will be making are first 15 min video here in 13 days,
That one I will try and film more on the 7d to see about the cleaner shots, but most of this is on my sony xr 500. I am working on just tone-mapping the rider right now, and leaving the world alone, to see how that looks, so far so good, I like the new effect, I will upload soon

loved it so much, but yeah the HDR was a bit hard to understand at a few moments. i still loved it, but i woulda perferred parts with a more natural feel. amazing job nonetheless guys !

@Giant-Rider-Sam I completely agree. I really like it in this video, though. But, if there was like a 30 minutes+ video of nothing but this - I wouldn't be too impressed.

Dude, you gotta tell me how this is done!(hdr) My dad and I have googled and not found anything about hdr filmography...

Sick Matthew! This one is definitely your best. You kick ass at Pixel Motion Slow Motion by the way. I have no idea how you do it so well with so few artifacts... it actually looks like real slo-mo!

Man you need to make a film.
Everything about this video is sick. The editing, the filming, the HDR video format. I'm surprised your not already involved in film making, because this is just amazing.
If you made a film, i would definitely buy it, this is almost as good, if not as good as the "follow me" trailer. Follow me is only good because's its filming the worlds best, and its has some pretty sweet HD camera angles. Where as this footage and editing is way more original, I haven't seen another edit on pinkbike like this.
Keep up the brilliant work man. Id love to know how you edit this stuff.

This is the rough cut, video's are constructed in a 3 part process, we decided to upload the video as we build it.. I am uploading the fine cut right now, and I am going to link it to this video. The Final Cut is coming out in 2 days. So it goes, Rough Cut, Fine Cut, Final Cut. We thought it would be cool to should you all the 3 steps, sucks; those first videos always get del. We did not think it would get vod, that is wicked but we kinda thought the final cut would get vod, but we are stoked. HSB is working hard at getting a tv show.

So HSB is gonna actually have tours this year ?..You should make a 30sec commercial ad too. and we should do some double helmet camming soon, i got one setup. just some trails.
- + 2
haha Good video. I think pros need to remember that they're riders and not actors though. Time to keep the videos to riding and take out the dialogue unless they can pull it off.
- + 1
lol; first time acting for sure, we shot that scene like 12 times now, and we are going to shoot it again, but a little different and see how it comes out

HDR is hard to get right....you fuckin nailed it!It's like some futuristic dreamland.
Footage is insane...ausome riders, snow, skatepark, slicing apples!
Super slow-mo...blows my mind...love how it goes heaps slow, then speeds up to full extention of trick, speeds up, slows down for landing etc.
MAKE MORE VIDEOS!
