Lars Sternberg hits unemployment line on Galbraith with his team issue Double.
I dont kno what it is but this video makes me want to sit here all day and whatch it, oh wait but with eggs and bacon..
Actually it kinda is. A long jump line thats fast and flowy. Just not as wide open or as big of jumps. But non the less, its a fun ass trail. Love it.
he's a downhiller, he was riding with clips too and 36's. probs trying to make it as similar to his dh bike as possible. like a short travel dh bike.
i wish the would have set up that bike for slopestle and went to highland bike park...
but this vid was still sick with those jumps.
Such a nice bike! every years' double is really nice!
but the video made it look like a trail bike...
Yeah i don't know why but i just didn't find the vid that interesting. The trail looked really fun though.
yeah cool vid....but that's just the bike and the riding I think the editing could have been better, I'm with you el-nombre.
This is my territory! unemployment line is amazing. its as smooth as a pumptrack, but it has all the features of regular freeride singletrack. im right down the road from it at the moment.
i like this guys ridin style. this vid is totally awsome and this is why im getting a bouble oh and VOD
meh i didnt like it it made that amazing bike look like a trail bike when its really a slopestyle dirt jumping freeride bike
Great vid as always by Transition bikes, excellent riding by Lars Sternberg, but the real star of the show is the Double, what an excellent looking riding bike, the suspension is proven and dialled, and the frame is as solid as a rock, yet light.Nice work lads.
Gringo.

Gringo.
This is the new Unimployment Line trail on Galbraith mt. and Lars riding is pretty extrorinary. Mst people are riding bigger bikes up there but he kills EVERYTHING on that new 4" double. I don't think the wood ramp at the top is even designed to be aired out from where he took off. Awesome. VOD.
This vid shows a perfect trail for a Double. Introduce any more surface imperfections and you'll defiantly want more bike. I let mine go because nothing around here is that smooth/flowy but for DJ/slope style stuff it was amazing.
This was awesome big jumps and gaps on the smooth double!!!
the 36 looks a little long. How much travel are you riding it at?
I have my double with a 130mm fork and it feels much better than the 100mm fork for my style of riding!!
Great video!!

Anybody else noticed that the vid is in fast motion?.. not much but noticable unless its my computer
At 2:20 i dont get why they built that top bump??? looks like if they push t back to the edge you'd have a smoother, larger landing for that. Or, has someone cleared over that bump?
The section your talking about at 2:20 is eventually going to get another makeover. Currently there is another option that most other riders take. Lars built the gap jump on one of our trail days, and I believe he is one of the few people around here to actually hit it. You have to see this trail in person to even get a grasp on how well Lars rode it. The guy shreds!
Heard that trail was built by a professional trail builder and the Plunder Crew. Such a sick trail and Lars makes it look so easy.
The professional trail builder was Andrew Fletcher-Love of Northwest Trails Inc. The Plunder guys that did the majority of the digging and shaping behind the machine were Colin Tobin ( he was there everyday), Thad, Chris, Clayton and Vaughn. The guys with the vision that worked behind the scenes and on the trail to make sure this project happened were EB, Bill Hawk and Matt Durand, of the WMBC. Fanatic Bicycle Company donated the machine. Tons of volunteers showed up, Odin to name the most dedicated, even Lars helped when he could. There were trail days sponsored by Transition Bikes, Drop N Zone and Hidden Wave that promoted big turnouts. The trail was a community effort.
Respect to the builders! I love seeing original ideas when people build!
And Lars just rinsed it out with those fat doubles and cool nose presses, amazing skills!

I'm eager to get back on that trail soon! It rips! Huge debt of gratitude goes to EB the one-armed wunder-builder!
Crazy how comfortable that guy is on his bike! Sic riding! He looks like a skier carving the powder but his on 2 wheels and packed dirt.

i cant just help but notice that even this was a real good video but VOD are starting to become advertisments for bike companys, all be it real good adverts
thats cuz hes not doing anything remotely difficult. i dont see anything special about this vod. it actually kind of sucks. ive seen 12 year olds ripping it harder(not this trail, but in general).
lets see you rip harder than lars... everything i see of him is amazing.... reminds me alot of Kirt Voreis

dude had to of snorted a big line of coke to do that trail so freaking fast and dialed! lol! awesome vid
no shit MR. Mountainyj he asked for a web site so you are not helping at all and just making yourself look stupid
My underlying point was not made clear I see. People should shop their local bike shops more. Unfortunately for him, it looks like there is no dealer in Hawaii. But my point is still valid, the more people support their shops, the more the shop gets to give back to the community and help progress the sport. That's exactly what's happening here, if nobody came by the the shop, chances are we would not get to hold a sick event like Ranchstyle. The more the name gets out and people support us, the more we can do.
That's all I was trying to state.

how the sweet jesus did this get VOD?!?!
