Made a new dolly so I wanted to do a few test shots

Can you explain how the mount for the camera works? Do you push it gently? And how'd did you make the camera go up when you walked in the house? I just want to figure this out.

You simply push the dolly genitally along the track. For shots that move vertically i leaned the dolly track against a wall, tree etc to get say about a 60 degree angle and pushed the dolly along the new track orientation

Thats actually a post production thing. It wasnt an actual dolly shot I just sorta applied that motion to a stationary time lapse when i was editing it. There are ways to do those time lapse dolly shots but I have never been able to find anything thats very straightforward or cheap...
