 how much did the mulch cost you

 I actually ended up cutting it down a bit so the lip height matched the landing height. It actually felt really nice at 6ft, so it just depends on your landing and what you want. If you dont want it as vert, step back, picture in your head where it should be and cut it down to that mark.

 I have enough room in the yard, but if I tried this off the house my wife would not be sporting a squirrel voice more like a grizzly bear.

 So I build a 6ft lip with 8ft radius, and it looks way more vert that the one in the video. Help, and I does look like a 9ft radius.

 It depends on what kind you get and where. And if you need it delivered etc. I was able to get it delivered for $8 a yard. Youll need at least 20 yards for a decent landing. 30 would be best if you do yours like I did mine

 Umm not sure, made it 6ft tall and did an 8ft radius. so you hammer a nail to a 10ft 2x4 at exactly 8 ft, then attach a string and draw the radius on the 4x8

 looks like a 9ft radius?? an 8ft radius would fit onto 2 peices of 8x4. :/

 Oh yeah man, it was a ton of work and money. But really happy with how well it came out. Works really well because you can very easily roll out of it, but Ive crashed MEGA hard already and it doesnt hurt at all.

 Nice man, how much is the truck load of mulch? I am thinking about building one of those in my backyard in Portland.

 It took about 25 yards of mulch/woodchips. And 70 bails of hay. Luckily the hay was only $1 each

 Depends on who you are I guess. You could always use more hay and less mulch. Or make a pile of dirt then cover in mulch etc. All depends on how clever you can be

 I bought a couple farming fence post and drove them in along the outside of the bails to keep them from falling over
