first time ever jump

Tried to analyze the jump and how the guy crashed. Going into the jump it seems his feet are at 3 & 9 which is what you want. It also looks as if the rider shifted forward right before landing. Rider's left foot appeared to have left the pedal right at landing as well.
It appears the rider grabbed a buttload of front brake after his foot left the pedal in addition to what I think he actually may have tried to stop himself with his feet (I could be wrong on this but it appears this way). This I believe is the cause of his endo. The previous things I don't think would have caused his endo; he may have slid off on the side or actually continued down the trail but that endo looks alot like grabbing a buttload of front brake along with trying to stop like Fred Flinstone.
Just my opinion.
