From a while ago. We had no idea it was going to have these conditions when we got there. This is our journey of getting out of there.

Chains always go on the drive wheel. Stay off the brakes. That looked like such a fun day of learning about ice and cars. You young guys make LOL.
The van is AWD. Everytime I show up with the dudes I ride with (majority in the 30's) they always say "Oh hey look there's Stu, [yells across the shuttle area] Hey Stu how are the kids!" Minivan FTW.
The thing was we didn't know that thick gravel could freeze over like that, getting to the place was fine, but yeah we should have scouted the roads farther down first.
Oh yeah they're all automatic vehicles. But lots of them now adays have a L-2-3 gear (like that van above) which is for climbing a long hill for example.

Lol no worries guys. We don't have tire chains on hand because we live in Washington DC, if we get 3 in of snow they cancel school because they don't know what the heck to do about it.
In this case, we actually took a chance, and unfortunatly there was snow on the trails/roads. We didn't expect the ROADS to be this bad. I mean look at the other cars haha, its a honda, a buick, and a minivan!
So technically we actually don't live up in the mountains, just sub-urban areas, we have to drive out of the area to get our DH/FR fix.
