I went to Silver Star for summer vacation this year (2007). It was a blast.

Damn, that's a good vid. I've got some mates who moved out to near silverstar a few years back, and they've offered me free accommodation and stuff, and promised me a trip to silverstar. You've made it even mroe appealing now mate.
where are the wall rides?? did they take them out or you just not get any of that on film.. cause those were a blast to ride, and looks like they changed the run out under the chair lift.. use to just be a straight run with big tables now its a bit more tech

Yeah, those big tables are still super fun, I think I like it better now with the twisty runout afterwards. I didn't get the wall rides on film at all, but I did ride them, so fun. That place has so many amazing features, it would take a full-length movie to showcase them all properly. SilverStar is definatly my favorite resort, can't wait to go back!
This really is a great video, you are very good at picking angles for non-swiveling shots, however, there are 2 things you need. One is a fluid-head for your tripod, and the other is to choose a different song. You're a great photographer though, I can tell cause I do a lot of shooting like this as well.
Thanks for the constructive feedback, I appreciate that. I can't take all the credit for the shot angles; my sister is a pro photographer, and she setup at least 50% of the shots in this video.

Nice vid. My friend has cousins up there and he rides there and loves it. The only thing I'd say is change the song. Otherwise great video.
I've spent the last 4 riding season's at SilverStar!!!! It Kicks Ass. It just gets better every year. Wish we had a few more trails tho.

Yeah, I totally agree, it would have been sweet if I got it. It doesn't look like it in the video, but its one of the biggest jumps there, and I had a really hard time getting enough speed to clear it. Something to shoot for next year!

nice I think it would be cool around 105 if instead of fast forwarding when you can't see the rider to just cut it you see it in pro vidoes and i think it's a cool affect

I want to give them my money. I have no problem paying for awesome trails and supporting ski resorts that make an effort to let us come and ride on their hill. That being said, I've ridden some of the trails around SilverStar too, definatly some good ones.
