Worst Case Scenario is a survival skills television series hosted by Bear Grylls on the Discovery Channel. Bear Grylls shows how to survive in different natural cataclysms, man-made disasters, accidents, and other non-standard situations.
If you ever find yourself in this worst case scenario there are a few key point to remember.
1. never ever ride with fat friends on shitty bikes close to steep hills.
2. Dont let Grylls destroy your bike!
3. Suck it up, be a man and get back on that bike!

haha, I'm super stoked to see mountain biking getting recognized on TV, but the their combination of equipments vs. their bikes was pretty funny... along with the victoms handful of front brake. All that said can't really make a difference to your regular viewer who doesn't really ride.
Sure, everyone takes with himself to biking a rope a knife, and a carabiner, but don't take tire levelers.:S
you man up and walk home hahah... i had to walk 2 miles home with a fully torn acl and im in ship shape
Hahaha, Bear just brought a whole new level to paranoia. Pretty much everyone I know has a "horror" story, but they're just like, yeah, I rode out after I cut my leg and head off.
And so now he dragged the guy up the hill. So what? Like he still has no cell reception...what is he supposed to do, carry the guy out? Just make sure he isn't dying and then ride to town dumbass.

Am I the only one who found this really ridiculous? I mean seriously, strapping a bike to a tree and making a pulley system with like 40 feet of rope? Haha.
Instead of all that rope, isn't it better to carry a satellite phone?
The episode might have some inaccuracies, but I still enjoyed watching it.

I love the people who are picking holes in this and completely ignoring the basic survival principles he is trying to convey.
I'm for sure inviting mr. grylls along on my next bike trip
who else would think to make a pulley out of a bike. lol

And hes leg is broken. Why cant he help Grylls pulling him up using his own arms?
