k, why is it if MTB's are supposed to be smoother to ride than bmx's (because of large wheels) bmx tricks always look so slick and are sooooo far ahead of what the MTB boys are doing?! 20" all the way!!

because they're way lighter and have alot lighter wheels which reduse spin resistance. and that jump may or may not be perfect

yeah i agree the wheels spin faster but larger wheels run smoother/faster over even slightly uneven terrain, go to any trails no matter how rough and the bmx folks will always be boosting higher and throwing down more tech tricks, with regards to weight, my 24" rigid MTB was pretty much the same weight as my BMX at the time was. Dont get me wrong im an MTB fan at heart and started out on a bmx so im not trying to diss or big up either, just watching vids on here of both bikes jumping on dirt it always seems like the BMX's are so much smoother, higher and platforms for better tricks.
