In this video, I was wearing the Drift on my helmet and the GoPro on my chest AT THE SAME TIME.

Hi All,
I have the Drift HD170 and I can confirm it is far better that the Gopro (I have had both), and when I say this I mean in every aspect. The picture is excelent and all the camera features that come as standard (viewing screen, remote which attaches to your bars, rotating lens and the option to zoom in and out). Most of the above you have to pay extra for when you buy a Gropro, so in my view its a no brainer.
Plus they have just released their underwater/waterproof housing mount, what else could you want.

i think you can turn the brightness up on the gopro. but that brightness seting might just be for the lcd display i cant remember...

Jack - you can change the focal points but there's no control for brightness in the recorded images

Why didn't you compare them in the same light, i mean the drift hd is recording in better light so it's normal for it to seem better, or does the gopro just record that way?
