well yA u got dh tires but without tire and tube mine are heavier but im going to get a new set, cuz these onse are weak and heavy
actually, it's your tires and hubs that have all the weight, your rims are lighter than singletracks.
you learn too fast, skinner was working on 3taps last year and can't do them on flat on his mtb yet... and here's you going for flat 3s.
did you check out dragonzzz's flat 3 vids? he has them dialed on a 25-26 pound rigid dobermann, he's 5"6' and 130lbs, so i don't think your bike weight really makes any difference, you and your tankness, lol. thing is, i think the biggest difference you could make to your bike right now is to switch to lighter tires, since they are at the furthest edge of your wheels -> rotational weight.

or you could bring your back wheel a bit more forward if you have horizontal drop outs make so much difference!
the rims are 660grams but i still cant beleive my scale said 8lbs for the back wheel with tire/tube/disk, either my scale is way off or i can really lighten my bike, but then agian the wieght for my complete bike is the same as cyclepaths wieght 31.5or 32lbs
No, you still couldn't. With the technique you have right now you purposely push your back wheel down when you reach 270, you need to learn to lean forward over your bars so you keep your rear wheel in the air and land on both wheels.
LOL. skinner got shown up... you learned 3taps all last year, and can only do it on your 24"er out of banks, and now crombie's learned it in weeks on flat, on a 26er. what a tank.
yeah i know i'm not as good as you skinner, but still, i find this entertaining.

I can pretty much do them now I land 4 out of 10 I do. By the way whens the Empire in and do you wanna ride indoor park with me??
okay well when you jump into the air pick up your back end higher, and lean foward a bit more, and thats pretty much it, try them off liek curbs n shit then take them to flat
