Some shots from some trails...
7D all at ISO1600 to test the lowlight capabilites, shot on terrible lenses.
looking good your good with your videos im gunna have to send you some clips when i get riding again soo you can edit them
that was too cool !! :O Great shots, and I gotta say that's a super pimp wheel barrow
! Yellow rims ftw
using a couple of really shit lenses, a tamron 28-80 and a tamron 80-210. Need some clearer glass to make the most out of the camera, but I just can't afford L-series quality atm
. Aperture wise, wide open, it really was pretty dark, so thats 3.5-5.6 on the 28/80 and 4.5-5.6 on the 80/210
Nice, I know what you mean, iam getting the 7D around new years and gonna try get some nice glass for it.
A nice cheap one is the 50mm 1.8 ii, can pick them up for about £70ish. They are well known for how good there are for the price. Chuck it into vimeo and have look.

I have done, I'm getting one next week haha, just sold a reeaaallly shit sigma I had for £70 so I've got enough for it finally
Wicked, you will be surprised how good it is for the price and the 1.8 helps out loads in low light.
How are you find the 7D, have you taking it out much yet??

Barely been able to, this was the first time, laid up with a broken leg, this was all filmed balancing on a wet clay slop whilst trying not to slip and put weight on my bad leg >.
Depends what shots really, with the 7D you have the live view and can zoom in on the screen and set the focus almost perfect
One thing I'm dreading tom >. but I've been shooting macro with non electric extension rings for a while and thats f.0 technically, so I'm hoping i've got a fairly good control of my fine focusing skill now, and yeah you can zoom in 10x on your screen if you're doing a set focus shot, but tracking someone coming towards me or whatever is going to be hell >.
been out doing a bit of video of just people etc at college with the 50mm now, gotta say, as long as you can see the screen well, you get used to getting the focus right pretty quickly. Its quite easy as you don't have to worry about zoom or anything, i just use my ring finger on it! I've got a zacuto Z-finder or similar on my list of gizmos to get for it as well now though, so that should help no end, especially in the summer!
