when you first go into it carve the tranny then push your arms out as much as they can extend(to just get the lock of the pedal). when you lean into it to much thats when your pedal will just get stuck. so when you go in; all you do is lean just a little in well your momentum is still there with you. See like you did in your vid you ended up losing momentum thus it is harder to pull into the quarter.
