Tara is a hero. These guys show us how lucky we are and that we should appreciate our health and life in general. Stay positive and never give up on living to the fullest!

 so inspirational!

some people just dont realize how strong a bond between a person and there bike can become, i know if i lost the chance to ride my bike, well i dont think i would wanna live, these people have alot of detirmination, that i would never have, and i respect them completely for this
  • + 12
I think this something that we all think about but we push it away each time we get onto our bikes. Its something no one wishes for but its a reality we got to face in our sport. I wear a Leatt Brace and fully encourage it. Might not be the full solution but its a beginning. Big respect to all those riders and We Will Find A Solution!

Guys, i'm sutre we cant really understand what you feel, but continue waht you do, this is just GENIAL ! i'm 200 % with you !
  • + 15
I agree with mtb1stdegree; I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't ride anymore. Ever since I've started riding, I feel absolutely happiest when I'm on my bike. I love being able to get out of the world and just ride; nothing at all in the world makes me happier.

My respect for these people simply cannot be described with words. I couldn't imagine what it would be like, but I feel bad myself for being weak enough to consider just stopping if I had such an accident. Whereas these simply extraordinary people just push themselves on, digging their way through adversary that we can't imagine.

They provide so much inspiration for people who are in similar situations; there is no other way to describe them other then "heroes". And, in fact, for people who aren't. Showing us that life doesn't just end, that there are other options, and that determination and willpower will see you through it.

Tara Llanes, and every single one of these heroes; you have my FULL support. Salute
  • + 7
I also do agree with mtb1stdegree, the bond between me and my bike is something that not one of my friends and family can understand. I can only compare it to what I feel for the woman I love.

And still, what those people do is just so incredibly inspiring.
Two years ago I had a bad crash, and since then, I take it with me on each and every ride I´m on.
I wont be hurtless for the rest of my life, but there was never a second in which I thought of quitting.
But just the thought of being paraplegic is ... just scary.

Tara Llanes and all the others have my deepest respect for going on.

This video came at a perfect time for me. I have having spine surgery on Tuesday 2/22 in hopes that I will be able to ride my bike again and live pain free. I know how these athletes feel. All I want is to ride again. Nothing else. I just want to ride my bike again. This video gave me some hope. Thank you for posting this!!!

Aaron, what can I say, to make such a movie is quite more tricky than biking-clips, you need tactfulness and many many other skills, and you proove again to have them, great great job dude! Big respect to you for producing something like this and of course to Tara...

My nephew was 5 when he got paralyzed in a car accident. He is geting his first adapted bike/wheel chair soon. He needs people like this to show him he's not alone. True inspiration to everyone.
  • + 2
xTuftyx - That is exactly why this film needed to be made...both for others out there that have been injured and need to see that life isn't over and that you can still be a sick athlete and also to really give people the awareness of what our lives are like and what people can to do help.

Please tell your nephew that he will grow up to be whatever he wants to be! A lawyer, a doctor, or a professional mtn.biker!! Wink

Fruitpicker, THANK YOU ALL so much for the hard work putting this together and giving everyone an insight into the effects of spinal injuries and the inspiration that you all are giving to the injured and their families. Keep Up the great work!!

Not just there sport and passion, but things that me and you can do in every day life. I think those guys in that film have alot of courage and alot of will power to keep on going. I have alot of respect for those people in that video.
