Sick edit man, I've been to Maraetai twice now, great trails. I've riden The Trig and other tracks but can't find ground zero, any tips on finding it? Cheers Smile

Ground zero is kind of on its own. If you head towards the beach on the road which which trig and others end/come out on youll get to a point where the forest "ends" continue another 50m or so and thell be a road going off the left. Follow up this road and its on you right. :pb:

Could you ride this on a hardtail?? I never knew there was good proper DH tracks close by.

There is one track called Two Dead Cows, not in this video, that could easily be ridden on a hardtail it is a good track with some good jumps and wooden obstacles with a river gap at the bottom. The other tracks The Trig and Darkside are on the rough side but we're ridden just this wednesday by a friend on a dj bike with 80ml forks and cable discs so they're all fine really.

yeah but sometimes you just want the feel of more travel under you so i think its time for an upgrade although i will keep my hardtail and use it as muych as i use my dh bike
