dh doesnt suck,its not fun to watch,but it takes a real skilled rider to ride dh and dj,because if you are using a mtb to only jump thats retarded and if you do slopestyle and jump then you have no idea what your missing out on if you dont go ride dh,dont try and agrue that if you dont ride dh.you probably cant handle it. but as for the vod,it looked sick but a video off stiff air hucks doesnt apeal much to me whats all in the real video?
i ride bmx and its a hell of a lot better than shitty dh or dj because you have to have alot of skill to do bmxing unlike dh which is jst seeing how fast you can go down a hill where as bmxing is all about skill and tricks
dj is alot of skill because tailwhiping mtn bikes is twice as hard as tailwhiping bmx and tialwhips are one of bmx most crutial tricks,im not saying mtn is better then bmx im saying it defantly deserves credit from bmx'ers and last i chechked dh wasnt a straite perfectly paved rd down a mountain with guys doing radar.I hope your not being serious because pro downhillers put there life on the line to ride down rugged mountains and dh is one of the most dangerous sports alot more guys get hurt in dh then bmx.
tinitimo1 - if you've ridden DH you'd know that it also takes a lot of skill to ride a technical track, slow or fast. Admittedly, there are some DH tracks that are piss easy to ride whether it be fast or slow. And i'm not saying that BMX is easy, or that DH is better than it, i'm just saying that you should get the facts right before you start slagging people/sports off.
tinitimo1, just because dh'ers go faster, jump further, and have to control bigger, heavier bikes on rougher terrain than bmx'ers doesn't mean that dh'ers suck
this video sucked..... the riding was decent i guess, but there was nothing for the first 3/4 of the vid....if your going to make a biking video, put osme f*cking biking in it
tinitimo1, firstly dh is one of the most hardest sports both mentaly and physicaly secondly it is way funner than bmxing as u just do the same borring jumps over and over again were as in dh u have to make split second desicions on what line u take and thirdly its just so much funner pinning it through trees on the edge of beeing in control and out of control the jumps r much bigger and narlyer than bmx ones and the terrain is way more interesting so dont say dh is borring and unskillfull its more excitting and narlier than bmx will ever me so shut the f*ck up and think about things before u post it!!!!

I used to race downhill, its definitely very technical when you get a good course and the pressure is high, but once I started racing Junior X everybody got too serious so it wasn't any fun anymore.
Now I mainly dirtjump, I find it way more fun because its more chill and you aren't always under pressure and being timed and stuff. Some people may like the pressure and seriousness but I dont like taking something that's usually so fun and making it a test all the time.
anyways, different strokes for different folks, stop getting pissed about DH VODs and go find a good DJ or BMX video on youtube if you need one so bad.

Why use 16mm for a movie like that? I don't think that the riding is "overwhelming" nor is the video.
