i find it a little unfortunate and slightly unfair to the riders for pinkbike readers holding charge of who wins. it's a great idea, but there's a ton of fan boy love going on here. not saying mike shouldn't win but contests like this if there's money on the plate should be legitimately judged.

progression: excellent point, and on another note it's not a huge contest such as crankworx. that being said, now that the top five was announced, I think the placing for the trick comp was well deserved.

I had a front row seat at last nights Best Trick contest and these guys were giving it their all. Both the double back and the front flip were big tricks to attempt and the crashes on both were pretty freakin' intense! Eric Lawrenuk was for sure one of my favorites but I have to vote for Mike Montgomery. HIs tricks were clean and very stylee.

i vote Mike Montgomery his bar hop backflip was something i have only seen on a moto before, Joe Perrizo would definitely have my vote if he landed that double backflip that was insane commitment

I agree. We talked about slowing some of the tricks down so you could see them better, but didn't want to give any favoritism for the video. overall edit on the way.

all he is saying is the, shot cuts right in the middle of mike doing the bar hop flip, if the shot would have bee just from the side, it would have taken just as much time, and shown the whole thing better. great edit though!

Honestly, I think everyone voted for mike because they are excited about a new trick but I would have voted for Greg's flip double bar..... Seems harder, just doesn't look as banger.
