 If you turn frame blending off when slowing the footage down, and it'll look over 9000 times better.

I think that's whats creating the blurry kind of effect during the slowmo anyway. Either that or the shutter speed it quite low.

 Well ive just made a short film on the course that im on and one of the specifications is to render the film in .mov, we filmed it all on 550ds so that was fun and i think im gonna get one in the next few weeks, its just finding the money :/ PROBLEMS! Baha they do look good fun though!
