 If all tech would be that easy all times, everyone could fix a melted down nuclear plant:

- some shocks wont come out using just a hex tool and a spanner, there are way different kinds of bolts that are very strange and will lead you to use a drill to drill them out :rolleyes:

- some springs are longer than they are supposed to be (with correct stroke) and you cant get the spring collar off. To compress the spring you need a special tool. Jerking around with big screwdrivers or something like that will damage the damper shaft.

Inconveniences like that should be mentioned in a tech video.

 quick question, My spring is 2.80X450 and im looking for a 350 but most of the sizes are 2.75 or 3.00 should i go for the 2.75 or 3"

@DHTilidie: it is always the trouble how to undo a bolt.
All manuals say "undo that bolt" and it doesnt come off lol ...
