I just had a look on the net to see how much the spray actually costs and noticed that a brand, not Chain Reaction Cycles, called CRC makes silicon spray. What are the chances? Hahaha. It costs about $20 AUD from a car maintainence store like Super Cheap Auto.

He said apply it to your stancions? For the average weekend warrior kind of rider, does this affect the suspension? Such a sick idea though. I might whip out the silicon spray next time it gets muddy to see how it goes. Thanks for that

Silicon lubricant is actually pretty good for your stations. It helps keep dirt from building up and reduces stiction between the stations and the wipers.
