ODI brought Montgomery up to shred Mammoth Mountain before opening weekend on June 20th. Mammoth has 4 times the amount of budget and is looking to make a top notch bike park within the next few years. In the process Mike set up some future plans...watch and find out what is coming later this year!
Ok. Mike is the man, no doubt about it. But the thing that pink bike needs to expand n is their lack of variation around the world for Vod's! if you look back and see where all of the videos have been filmed, they are all in the us or Canada. Can we get a few vod's from new Zealand or maybe a few from Austria ... It would just be nice for us to see something different than claymore or the a line in whistler... Etc....
in a way i see what you mean, but at the same time, gimme a break! this video rocks. stop complaining, pinkbike brings us all the latest news, videos and pics, basically the whole package. who cares who, or where the vod came from. Are they also racist cause most the videos contain white people?
@ double 201kid If you guys from New Zealand or Austria make some videos that are better then the ones from canada or the us then maybe you will get vod. Until then quit complaining it was a sick video!
Im just stoked to see Mike shredding DH. Poland, Canada and the US usually do have VODs but, thats probally beacuse those places have the terrain to ride just about any type of bikes. Id like to see more countries with VOD's especially New Zealand cuz they have some supreme DH trails.
yeah my favorites are in those places that arent as well known for biking that make you go "oohhhh i wanna go to like andorra" or something. just places that have virgin dh trails that people never thought to bike on. thats what pb needs.
It's largely because there are so many resources in this part of the world. The bike companies are based here, so they sponsor more stuff here, pay for helicopters, pay for big jumps to be made etc. It happens in NZ as well, but to a much lesser extent. More money, more resources, more competition, more exposure will usually = more VODS.
And this was sick by the way, I loved seeing a guy known for slopestyle killing it on the DH. If he can stay injury free, big things are on the way - big, big things!

Hands down the best grips out there and so is Mike....One of my fav. freeriders! Met him at Claymore last year. He's got a boatload of talent....great to see him getting the results and props that he deserves!!!
@OliScale....I noticed that too.@DanB25....HaHa I realize after a second look that I didn't word that right....I meant Mike and ODI are the best hands down....
bustin out some Hilltop Hoods huh?? saweet. and stoked to see mammoth getting in to it, cali needs it!
yessss what ive heard about mamoth is true!!!!! im going to get to shredding as soon as the damned snow melts off lol and ill be sure to get my application in mammoth cuz if theres anything i can do as good as DH its building trail!
hell yeahhh! i thought they needed to step up mammoth a bit so hopefully they make some fatty jumps and drops....
the plan was to boarrd and bike opening weekend buuuut i would be missing out on most of the alpine trails i dream about nightly lol i cant wait to surf through some pumis smash through some boulders and test the work they have planned =]]

Wow. It was a good video, but there are plenty of guys that deserve a chance to become known. I'd say today's and yesterday's videos are both advertisements of the day.
