Looked way to slow even before he hit it. Props for trying though. I wonder why he didn't hit the drop. It seemed easier than the gap when I've seen it for the first time. The run in was a bit strange though.

I would say he was alright because he got up and acted like "yah dude, that was soooo radical" and it appears as though he just bent his rim into a taco

Yeah he was alright, had a limp for a bit and took a rest day but was riding a couple of days later. As well as his front wheel, he also had to replace his fork lowers as they were twisted..
