Bearclaw Invitational 2011 - Claw Speaks

Few words about the Bearclaw Invitational

I don't know if you can say the hard work is over, I think you've worked hard to get to where you are and establish yourself as a leader within the mountain bike community and the sport has benefited hugely from that.

But now that people are listening to what your ideas it is more important then even too keep working hard and coming up with bigger and better ones.

I honestly can't say that there is a better man for the job though, Darren has always pushed the envelope of what it means to be a rider. By going out and giving back to community through events like the Bearclaw invitational, balancing his performances with not only what people are looking for but what they should be looking for. How many riders at rampage last year went off the back side of the mountain? Where other riders tried to turn utah cliffs into a whistler park Darren rode Utah for what it was and didn't really get as acknowledged as he should have for it.

And how many rider pay out of their pocket to host events? Darren on behalf of the mountain bike community I want to thank you for all the hard work you spoke of in this video, and say that I'm whole heartedly stoked to see how you are able to build of the successes of this year off the bike, as well as those in the saddle. 2011 may not have been your year to shine but please don't think the background work has gone unnoticed.
