Just keep practicing your not in too low a gear and u can do it with or without brakes. The more u do it the easier it becomes. I ride trials too and can do a correction hop to put my bike under me at low speed each time my good foot is forward instead of pivoting out. You basically have it, now u just get better at it and more comfortable. Keep it up!

more speed ans lift the front wheel when your spinning out and if you got a back brake give that a pull when your pivoting out to keep your feet flat it helps more than you think

well, to start, your in too low of a gear. two, roll farther and pick your front tire up when you turn out of it.
