In August Nick Simcik and I embarked on a road trip to the Northwest with one plan. To ride. We met some interesting people and discovered a mountain bike community we had no idea existed. Follow me on Facebook @facebook.com/shelbysmithvideo and for more info/questions goto: shelbysmithvideo.com
Tourette syndrome (also called Tourette's syndrome, Tourette's disorder, Gilles de la Tourette syndrome, GTS or, more commonly, simply Tourette's or TS) is an inherited neuropsychiatric disorder with onset in childhood, characterized by multiple physical (motor) tics and at least one vocal (phonic) tic; these tics characteristically wax and wane. Tourette's is defined as part of a spectrum of tic disorders, which includes transient and chronic tics.
Tourette's was once considered a rare and bizarre syndrome, most often associated with the exclamation of obscene words or socially inappropriate and derogatory remarks (coprolalia), but this symptom is present in only a small minority of people with Tourette's.[1] Tourette's is no longer considered a rare condition, but it may not always be correctly identified because most cases are classified as mild. Between 1 and 10 children per 1,000 have Tourette's;[2] as many as 10 per 1,000 people may have tic disorders,[3][4] with the more common tics of eye blinking, coughing, throat clearing, sniffing, and facial movements. Tourette's does not adversely affect intelligence or life expectancy. The severity of the tics decreases for most children as they pass through adolescence, and extreme Tourette's in adulthood is a rarity. Notable individuals with Tourette's are found in all walks of life

Down syndrome, or Down's syndrome (primarily in the United Kingdom),[1][2] trisomy 21, is a chromosomal condition caused by the presence of all or part of an extra 21st chromosome. It is named after John Langdon Down, the British physician who described the syndrome in 1866. The condition was clinically described earlier in the 19th century by Jean Etienne Dominique Esquirol in 1838 and Edouard Seguin in 1844.[3] Down syndrome was identified as a chromosome 21 trisomy by Dr. Jérôme Lejeune in 1959. Down syndrome in a fetus can be identified through chorionic villus sampling or amniocentesis during pregnancy, or in a baby at birth.
That was a really enjoyable vid and definitely a great VOD. I love the way you broke up the sequences, music was well suited and the shots were great. The trail where you filmed at 7:15 from one chest cam on the wood whilst the second rider weaver underneath was ace. Great video. Two thumbs up....
first off awesome video no doubt about that, but i do have to say its pretty uncool to shoot film on a trail in a secret area without authorization from the builder, then post it on an international website. trails like that should not be advertised, next time leave out the location.
We apologize for that. From all the people we met there and at other spots, no one mentioned that those trails were on the DL. Once again, I am sorry about that, we respect that as we have trails of that nature and hide the location the best we can. Hopefully if I am moving up there I can apologize in person and help throw some dirt on those and other trails in the area
Huge props to the trailbuilders on making some amazing creations! I just moved out to Bellingham and am super pumped to get in on throwing some dirt! The intent of this video was not to exploit the location, but to portral the pure epicness of the pnw. I cannot clam myself as Bellingham local yet cuz I have not earned it. But I am super stoked to be here, ready to dig and shred with anyone that is willing! Once again, thanks and cheers!
Galby not meaning to be a dick but just telling the name of the area the trail is located doesn't give away its location at all.... Shit I live in Bellingham and know North Fork has sick biking but I would have to go walk through the woods until I found the trails and knowing how the woods are here that could take a while

Sick vid Shelby! I want to talk to ya about doing a roots team vid at Crested Butte. Shops partnering up with the bikepark there... Hit us up

Sick vid for sure, but I don't get the random shots of that chick in the middle. If you're going to throw some hott chick in there she might as well be shredding the trails too.
