Pretty average filming, was just trying out a new camera I got. Filmed/Edited by Tom Cuthbert. Rider is Tyler Brooker.

Looks pretty rad, slow-mo's really nicely. Did you shoot at 50fps to do the slow-mo??

Yeah 50p. Note this is compressed to 1/10th of the Canon XMF recording quality, this version is 100mb, the Pro Res one I exported is 2.6 GB haha. Colours so much nicer with 4:2:2.

Just need to learn the ins and outs of it and should be sweet.

What do you make of it? I've had my eyes on one of these for a while now but all the bokeh bum bandits keep telling me to get a 7D

I got this for races and on-the-go shoots where versatility and convenience is key. I've still got my 60D for planned shoots as it gives a more cinematic look.

For races the xf100 should be awesome.

Stokaged. Had it on a funky IS setting that was meant for static shots so was a bit jumpy when trying to move it, but found 'dynamic' was the best for following-type shots which is primo.

That was sick! Just try and use more arty shots 'n shit, like rule of thirds and leading lines and all that. And don't speed it up in sections, looks shabby.

This was my first shoot with it so was just learning how to use it, was filming handheld and run-and-gun so didn't put much effort into the shots. Normally I take a tripod and dolly etc and they look way better but just wanted to test it out. Didn't speed it up either, just you're seeing 50 frames per second footage instead of the normal 25 frames per second so it looks sped up but it not, just forgot to export at 25p.
