After a hike up Blackcomb with "this is sheffield" rider Ed Thomsett we set our eyes on bigger and better things, filming. Watch Ed slay Hey Bud with speed and precision that cant be matched. Watch in HD: http://vimeo.com/28586706 //www.facebook.com/pages/The-GC-Crew/179221712148892

but it is also my fav video i have seen on pinkbike. prolly cause its jus the coolest trail where you could go balls out over rock garden dropoffs@@ and rider has style that stayes glued.. precision like it said@@!!!
i know this song has been used in like 200 other videos, but when tied with good riding, it never gets old
I've checked a few times and I didn't see it anywhere... but what's the name of that song? Great vid' by the way, it makes me want to ride my bike!!!
I love how this is literally the 400th time I heard this song in a bike video, it is seriously pissing me off how extremely unoriginal people are.
Theres a lot of locals who ride that trail a fair bit faster. Video work was good though, very nice shots.
The filming was shoddy, even the 'still' shots shook about. The editing was OKAY, the slowmo was weirdly blurry, and the song is well overused....
But i LOVED it
But i LOVED it
Bush, nothing really but i have ridden a Scalp and compared to my empire it felt strange and odd, surpose its up to the rider though....
@boostmaster, you of all people should know that music is the toughest thing to choose when it comes to editing, we collaboratively felt that this song suited the riding and trail type. dont call unoriginality until you stop using top 40s instrumentals.....
well I have my reasons for my song choices and you have yours, the only thing that makes this song choice unoriginal is the fact that everyone keeps using it. Whereas no one has used those songs that I used in some of my videos lately. The fact that a song is popular on the radio does not make it an unoriginal choice, (depending on the song, it could be a very original choice!) I love seeing videos with popular music that I heard on the radio before, that's just my style, until its overused of course. It doesn't take much to be overused.
I agree that this music fits well and everything, but sometimes that's not a enough of a reason to use a song.

well we both have our opinions on the music, between the three of us there was major debate whether we should use this song, its not like this was our first thought for music, but in the end when it came down to it we went with because we didnt find anything that quite worked like this one.
GC Crew the song is the tits, regardless if it has been used 3000 times it is still a better choice than Katie Perry and Lady Gaga. Boostmaster u should listen to something other than the Beat and Virgin radio, cuz there are alot of better songs on the radio to be used
im saying that cuz in the last two crankworx videos boostmaster used lady gaga and katy perry bro. u dont have to lecture me on music

Fantastic camera work, i love it how some people just get these amazing angles and shots i'm just like WOAH! VOD for sure
Hey Bud is an amazing trail, it is not loam, but the god himself's duvet filling!
One of my fav's in Whistler. I still remember turning left 50m down the trail one day.... the loam is replaced by steep.

I rode that yesterday on my hard tail. It was a fun ride - on the verge of out of control too fast at times, but made it down in one piece and everybody high fived afterwards
I'm so glad that trails like this aren't accessible via the park. Otherwise it'd look like RDS by now.
sick video but to me it looks like every other sick dh video, but it still like it dont get me wrong just imo i need somthing different
The key to a good movie is quality footage and music to flow well together and that is exactly what you have done. Good WORK!!

You do realise that 99% of MTB trails in the world are illegal right? we risk $600+ fines to ride here.
