Norco Truax
Interesting video, but the Norco rep butchered that presentation. He seemed nervous and somewhat "new" to the technical details of DH/Freeride bikes - making him stumble upon words and sentences that made it incredibly difficult to watch.
I think he did a great job. It looks like an impromptu interview and the description said it was unrehearsed. There were also no cuts between sentences in the video. Lastly, I think the bike looks great.
I really don't mind if these manufacturers license or snatch suspension designs off one another. It seems the design is proven now and I look forward to heavy competition beyond what can be achieved with what used to be differences in suspension, e.g. components, after sales service and most importantly price.
that bike looks awesome but I with they would have reinforced the union between the top tube and the head tube, may not be necessary but does not look confidence inspiring and rather spindly
also wished they would have specced a VAN up front not a float to better match the coil rear suspension
I'm thinking of getting one of these...but is there a huge difference betweem the truax 1,2, and 3? except the colour and fork?
