On one of the last viable riding weekends of the 2011 season, longtime friends Stevin Tuchiwsky and photographer/videographer Rod Leland headed out into Kananaskis Country in the Alberta Rockies to produce a web-edit, closing the season, celebrating (and mourning) the arrival of snow, and producing three solid minutes of film. Enjoy, share readily.

The occasional off trail riding/braiding was unnecessary and is somewhat disrespectful to the trail builders/maintainers. The vid wouldn't lose any of its appeal if the rider stayed on the trail, if anything it would be an improvement.
therres some ups to the snow....... like snowboarding
or skiing for some people, but it would be nice if the biking season lasted a little longer
hey man give me a shout if you wanna ride, i live in calgary. also i have a facebook group. mountain bike calgary. be sick if you joined. And nice gloves i have the same set.

I was confused about people talking about moose, I thought they meant the clothes not the mountain...

Check out the Moose Mountain Website. Trail map and all! http://www.mmbts.com/members/
Stevin is a manimal. I recall seeing pictures and video of him sending his arse off some leviathan drop in Kamloops...suicide no-hander to boot. Boy's got skills.
Aside, a lot of people have put in loads of hard work at Moose Mountain. Special thanks to all trail builders everywhere.

Just my preference and what best suits my riding still. It is just what I have been used to all my years biking.
